This is the home studio I teach lessons in. It is not the prettiest room, but it allows my students freedom to experiment without having to worry about the furniture. It is also one of my work areas, so the students get exposed to what a real studio may look like.

BASIC INFORMATION

Times for lessons are every other Monday at 2 pm for advanced students (1.5 hours) and every Monday at 4:30 for regular students. The cost is $18 and $14 respectiviely per lesson and supplies are included. I am flexible with adding another time if I have the interest, so please contact me with your requests. I focus on painting and drawing skills. I also introduce the kids to artists, different techniques and vocabulary for inspiration. I encourage experimenting with techniques and different media. I try not to give students answers, but I do help them discover the answers to problems with composition, color, etc. I use student quality art supplies like student acrylic paints, canvas boards, drawing pencils, pastels, and nice papers. I focus on fine art, not crafts or kits. The classes are limited to six students so all students get a chance to ask questions and interact with me.
As for me, I am a professional artist. I have a Bachelor of Arts concentrating in fine arts. I have a background primarily in photography and painting. Please browse my website to see some of my work.
Please contact me with any other questions. 703-992-7866
